The owners of the Prague “W” Restaurant and Whiskey Bar encountered this concept in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, and fell totally in love with it. On the corner of Maiselova and Kaprova Streets, after demanding modifications to the extensive cellars, they opened the Prague version of this popular venue, combining restaurant, bar and one of the biggest whiskey collections in the world.
The modern Mediterranean cuisine includes juicy steaks and fresh fish prepared on a special charcoal grill, as well as appetisers, vegetarian specialities and home-made desserts from the restaurant kitchen. In addition, the Chef of “W” Restaurant has compiled the menu in such way as to emphasise the unique environment of the restaurant, enhanced by the flavour of whiskey and excellent wines.
More than 1 000 kinds of whiskey are found here, with almost 1 600 bottles lining the walls of the restaurant. “W” Restaurant is designed not only for a pleasant time with friends, but also as a unique venue for private events, whether corporate or family. The whiskey-filled restaurant can seat up to 144 guests, and boasts two lounges and a quality audio/video system. In addition, it is one of the few restaurants in Prague to provide a separate VIP entrance for the maximum discretion of distinguished guests.
