Our Secret Tip
La Veranda restaurant is situated in the midst of the romantic streets of the Old Town and has been our heart’s desire for 20 years. Here one can forget the hustle and bustle of the big city and be transported to the sunny countryside for a while, such as somewhere in Provence. Our secret tip: ask for Thai Soup, which is not on the menu, but if you know about it, it will be served to you. The menu often changes here, but Steak Tartare with smoked yolk and truffles remains constant in different variations. Savour the food to understand what a “symphony of tastes” means and why this company is also recommended by the Michelin Gastronomic Guide. The Wine List contains gems to enchant the taste buds, some of which we guarantee will be included in your home wine stock.
Let Yourself be Pampered
The atmosphere has always been good at Grandma’s, just as guests will always feel good at Babiččina Zahrada in Průhonice, which is the “sister” restaurant of La Veranda. While it offers mainly Mediterranean and international cuisine, Babiččina Zahrada selects first-class ingredients from local small farmers and producers to prepare traditional meals. The outdoor restaurant, hidden amidst greenery, offers seating in romantic gazebos for two, as well as for larger groups. Relax with a picnic or enjoy a barbecue in the fragrant herb garden. There is also an indoor restaurant awaiting guests, and the guesthouse provides accommodation with cosy bedrooms and top service in the form of relaxing massages and therapies.

Festive Evening and Launch of the new issue of Travel Fever magazine.
The gala evening and launch party for Travel Fever magazine took place at the Esplanade Spa & Golf Resort in Mariánské Lázně. Zdeněk Vrba hosted the launch party, and the evening’s program included, among other things, a BOGNER fashion show. Travel Fever magazine is published in four languages, and the fourth language is a new addition: ITALIAN! So now it’s available in Czech, English, German, and Italian.
