Valentine’s Day is a unique opportunity to remind a loved one how much he or she is loved. Every year, the famous Chopard jewellery and watch brand reveals the full range of its creative genius. Thus it becomes a very attentive partner in expressing the most exquisite manifestations of love. Beny jewellery store in Prague’s Pařížská Street is happy to advise you on your personal choice. Alternatively, you may order directly from their e-shop.
The “Big-Hearted Maison,” is what Chopard company is often nicknamed, in the management of which we find Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele. Together with the masters of the jewellery and watchmaking industry, she is behind the entire 2022 Valentine’s Day Collection. Let’s see how she inspires the generosity of people in love this year.
Happy Diamonds Joaillerie
Diamonds and hearts – what could better express Chopard’s philosophy in its joyfully sounding motto: “Joie de Vivre”? The Happy Diamonds Collection shines in a golden case, polished or decorated with diamonds scattered along a glittering gemstone ribbon. The complete set comprising pendant, bracelet, ring and earrings will delight every lady.
Another pleasing expression of love is Happy Hearts, with a dancing diamond adorned by a pink mother-of-pearl heart. This embodies much more than just a collection of jewellery, it symbolises Chopard’s boundless generosity and creativity. The joyful and infinitely elegant edition of Happy Hearts bracelets – made of ethical 18-carat rose or white gold and pink mother-of-pearl – originated from a meeting of two women with big hearts: Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-Chairwoman and Artistic Director, and Natalia Vodianovova, founder of the Naked Heart Foundation, which has been assisting children since 2004.
L’Heure du Diamant
The miracle in the form of L'Heure du Diamant makes a superb gift to emphasise eternal tender emotions for a woman. In this watch, Chopard combines the beauty of diamonds with contemporary design. The heart-shaped watch gem composed of ethical 18-carat rose gold is adorned with a pink mother-of-pearl dial. In L'Heure du Diamant, the dial comprises a lunette of brilliant diamonds in a sophisticated crown setting with a pink leather strap.
A watch also makes a great Valentine’s Day surprise for a man. The casual elegance of L.U.C XP is based on simplicity and detail. Two hands, no second hand, no date, just the bare essentials. This ultra-thin, elegant watch clad in steel and enhanced with a satin-blue dial with rose gold accents is suitable for all wrist sizes. L.U.C XP is completed with a merino wool strap. However, the package also includes an alligator leather strap with brown lining.
Three pairs of earrings also make their debut at Chopard in this year’s Haute Joaillerie collection. Diamonds of more than 28 carats, set in ethical 18-carat white gold, give the earrings an inimitable brilliance, accentuated by sophisticated stylistic elements. Whether round, heart- or pear-drop-shaped, these earrings highlight the stylish aura of feminine charm on any occasion.
Chopard has also enriched its collection of watchmaking and jewellery artistic masterpieces with refined women’s accessories. The collection of Happy Sport handbags is decorated with quilted motifs and rare vintage metal and gold details – including the traditional Chopard “C”. Handbags are available in two versions. One is in red calfskin, the other in fuchsia pink made from the innovative Seaqual® yarn material. This material was created by expert research, with the objective of recycling the plastic waste recovered from oceans. In this series, Chopard also offers a fascinating scarf made of organic silk chiffon, with the “tree of life” motif, the design of which Caroline Scheufele herself participated in.
The fragrant highlight of this year’s offer is the new Love Chopard perfume, created by Master Perfumer Albert Morillas. The flamboyant, seductive aroma is created by an exciting blend of the six most amazing varieties of roses, combined with natural ingredients from sustainable sources. The elegant flacon and cap are framed with thin gold details.
The story of a unique watchmaking and jewellery house began to be written in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. However, the fame of the family business, led by Hubert Schediwy and his son Petr Schediwy, soon spread far beyond the borders of the East Bohemian region as well as the whole of the Czech Republic.
