Iveta Blížilová has been working in the world of family house construction and real estate for almost 20 years. In a field where numbers and quick solutions are often the deciding factors, she finds not only professional fulfilment, but unexpectedly also room for humanity and patience. Whether she is solving a complex business case or returning from the real estate fair in Cannes, she never loses perspective. For her, success means feedback that her work has meaning. She finds energy in Nature, spiritual growth, peaceful sunrises and her collection of minerals – but the moments she enjoys most are those spent with her family, and the small, unexpected joys that warm the heart.
What is your most vivid travel experience?
I love warm, exotic countries and I like to go to places that are not easily accessible – for example, to remote beaches or untouched Nature by boat. I enjoy yachting, I have sailed around the Greek islands, the Seychelles as well as in the Caribbean. But the most vivid experience for me was Latin America: Iguazú Falls in Brazil, Angel in Venezuela, a trip down a wild river to a waterfall in the Canaima National Park and observing crocodiles in the Amazon. These are experiences that have been indelibly engraved in my mind. I simply have an adventurous soul.
What can you not do without on your business and private trips?
Without people I trust. Without friends I can rely on and with whom I can share experiences. This also applies to my work – I rely on relationships that have a deeper meaning for me, not just work.
What do you consider the greatest advantage in your company?
The ability to listen to intuition and connect it with a pragmatic view of things. I always try to perceive the connections. If I feel that the right opportunity to invest is coming, I let myself be guided by intuition and the present moment and follow where they take me. Whether it is an investment or a new collaboration, I try to ensure that the result is beneficial to all involved.
In your opinion, your company is successful because…
I pay attention to details – they are what make the whole. I like to search for unconventional paths and am not afraid of bold, timeless solutions. Over the years, I see that some innovative construction solutions that I intuitively came up with and implemented in my previous projects are becoming common practice in development today. This is confirmation for me that doing things with the heart makes sense.
