Following the sensitive renovation led by architect Marek Tichý of TaK Architects, the 5-star Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel has become a symbol of the fusion of historical architecture and contemporary luxury. The iconic building, designed by Karel Filsak in 1974, now blends exceptional design with artistic heritage as well as modern comfort, to which the bathroom fixtures by Kaldewei make a significant contribution.
The German family-owned Kaldewei company was chosen for the hotel, due to its Luxstainability® philosophy, which combines luxury with sustainability. All of its products are made from Kaldewei steel enamel – a material that is extremely durable, hygienic, aesthetically timeless and 100% recyclable, making it the ideal choice for demanding hotel operations that merge design, quality and environmental responsibility.
The Conopool bathtub model deserves special attention, as it takes hotel wellness to a whole new level. It enables quiet operation, easy maintenance and subtle lighting through jets, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Bathrooms are also dominated by the iconic Meisterstück Centro Duo Oval bathtub – a seamless design piece with elegant enamel panels that gives the impression of a unified whole. Owing to its durability and perfect finish, this bathtub remains a symbol of sustainable luxury even after years of intensive use.
Kaldewei products at the Fairmont Golden Prague perfectly complement the hotel’s architectural and aesthetic concept, becoming a part of the furnishings, as well as an expression of a philosophy that combines history, art and modern European luxury.

Whether we like it or not, we are connected to Nature and our desire for its proximity grows increasingly. This can also be seen in the modern approach to development construction. A perfect example of connecting Nature with housing is the extensive Green Village project of the Real-Treuhand company. It is flourishing near Benešov and Konopiště Chateau, with the 2nd stage currently being completed, offering 25 family houses for immediate occupancy with a layout of 4-5 kk (3 to 4 bedrooms). However, Real-Treuhand has more unique projects prepared.
