The 5-star Hotel Krallerhof sets top standards and takes on new dimensions in the field of relaxation. In the spa with distinct design – comprising a natural swimming lake with an area of 5 500 m2 including a 50-metre heated infinity pool – guests immerse themselves in new realms in the midst of meadows and mountains. The spa was designed by international star architect, Hadi Teherani, as a purist, minimalist building of glass, wood and exposed concrete, masterfully integrated into the surroundings.
The entire resort – today it is no longer just a hotel area, but also two mountain chalets at the top cableway station – owes these ideas to Gerhard Altenberger, who, together with the entire family, manages the hotel. Maybe this man should rather have been a gallerist, because trawling through museums and galleries is one of his passions to this day. Colourful Rooms
The hotel first drew attention to itself when, sometime more than 15 years ago, it entrusted a family friend and Viennese artist, Tony Waltinger, with the project of a new hotel complex. In 23 generously conceived suites, Waltinger created a symphony of tradition, light and modern art. Finely proportioned forms and the radiant brightness of the rarest colour pigments give each room its own, completely individual character, and guests feel good here from the first day of their stay. Wellness already begins at the Krallerhof Hotel with the accommodation.
Choice of Summer Activities
Krallerhof in the heart of the mountain world is an ideal starting point for mountain hikes, cycling and golf. There are two tennis courts in the hotel complex, as well as a tennis coach. Regular yoga weeks are held and mountain bikes can be rented at the hotel. Two golf courses are nearby: GC Urslautal and GC Brandlhof. Hotel Krallerhof is a member of the Salzburgerland Golf Alpin association.
