The reconstruction of the building in 2022 transformed the rooms into 12 exclusive, individually furnished suites. High-quality solid wooden furniture and other elegant designer fittings and fixtures are complemented by the saunas and infrared saunas in the rooms. Frette bathrobes, in which to snuggle up after a bath, and beautiful lamps from the Italian brand of Catellani & Smith complete the idyllic atmosphere.

Apart from the charming interiors, guests can admire another advantage of the hotel, and that is the culinary mastery of the team of Chef Tomek Kinder. Be sure to treat yourself to a 5-course Alpine dinner in the luxurious Defregger Stube restaurant. Also experience the unique atmosphere of the wine cellar situated deep in the rock, with an impressive selection of wines. Breakfasts in the typical Tyrolean Stube dining room are also incredible, made from delicious regional products, including home-made jams, cheeses and smoked meats.

Villanders is the ideal location for memorable winter experiences. The vast meadows, snowy slopes and sunny Villanderer Alm mountain pasture invite visitors to an unforgettable adventure on cross-country skis or snowshoes. Downhill skiing can also be enjoyed in the nearby winter sports paradise, in the Alpe di Siusi ski area, or in the Val Gardena area, half an hour’s drive from the hotel.
